SPORTS MARKET DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

Job description  *

Vielight Inc., the industry leader in transcranial photobiomodulation is a pioneering company at the forefront of developing cutting-edge light therapy devices designed to optimize human performance and well-being.

We are seeking an ambitious and strategic Market Development Manager with a specialized focus and specific experience the sports and performance market. This individual will play a pivotal role in acquiring elite athlete endorsements, establishing partnerships with international professional sports teams and NCAA programs, plus all the affiliated medical and physical support practitioners in the ecosystem while spearheading market-specific initiatives to drive growth and brand visibility. Vielight has already a number established research partners and clinical trials evidencing the technology and a number of KOL’s and elite athletes as ambassadors.

Sports Market Development

Develop and implement short/long-term strategies to create brand presence in most relevant sections of sports market.

Research and develop key partnerships that maximize our company’s strengths (eg. NFL Alumni for TBI ).

Plan for and attend sports-related conferences and events.

Utilize various marketing channels, including digital media, social media to effectively reach and engage with target audience.

Prepare quarterly reports and plans to communicate/track progress and changes to strategies based on success/failure points of reaching key objectives.

Content Creation

Must be skilled and experienced in pitchdeck/presentation creation (portfolio required).

Work with Marketing team to create compelling video content highlighting athletes, events, and sponsorships, aligned with marketing objectives.

Digital content work is not restricted to sports market, may be required to help other departments.

Must be skilled in photography/videography and content production/editing.

Ambassador Development and Management:

Collaborate with current and future athletes in our Ambassador program to create compelling content.

Manage budgets and timelines for projects, ensuring seamless execution and delivery of key objectives.

Evaluate campaign performance and provide strategic recommendations for future activations based on data-driven insights.

Videography and Photography ( Preferred )

Utilize videography and photography skills to produce engaging multimedia content for marketing campaigns, social media platforms, and website optimization.


Job Requirements

Sports MBA preferred. Science background is a bonus.Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or related field; MBA Science background is a bonus.

Proven experience in market development, business development, or marketing within the sports industry.

Creative thinker with a passion for sports and a drive for innovation and continuous improvement.

Strong communicator and presenter.

Strong experience with producing pitchdecks and presentations.

Skilled in videography/photography and content editing/production.

Ability to travel and plan for conferences

Ability to work independently and seamlessly in a team.9. Experience and contacts with professional and college sport coaching network an advantage.
