Working as part of a dynamic committed team in a healing center that has been active for 35 years, the community social development worker would have the following areas of responsibility:
The areas of responsibility include the following:
To promote the services offered by Waseskun through newsletters, internal events & activities with external resources partners (correctional services, communities, etc
To organize and be responsible for certain activities and promotional events.;
To develop proposals for projects in areas of community reintrgration of residents
There may be travel from time to time to Ontario, Atlantic region and out West.
To prepare proosals to hire additional team members to expand activities and services for our residents.
To fulfill other duties required from time to time or as directed by your supervisor.
The ideal candidat would possess some or all of this abilities/skills:
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in French & EngliMust be able to work as a team member;
Must have experience in the tasks related to this project - including proven community development work;
The candidate must be very good in written French & English;
Must be able to pass a security clearance;
Must have a valid driver’s license
