Senior DevOps Engineer

Decode Talent is working with a rapidly growing technology company transforming how businesses handle cloud infrastructure and deployments. The platform serves enterprise clients across North America, processing millions of deployments annually. They’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Infrastructure team and help scale out cloud operations. The Role As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you’ll lead cloud infrastructure initiatives and shape the overall technical operations strategy. You’ll work with cutting-edge technologies while mentoring junior team members and collaborating with development teams to improve the deployment processes. Key Responsibilities Design and implement cloud infrastructure using AWS/Azure services Architect and maintain Kubernetes clusters for our microservices architecture Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for multiple development teams Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation Mentor junior DevOps engineers and provide technical leadership Document infrastructure designs and operational procedures Participate in on-call rotation for production support Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering Strong expertise in AWS/Azure cloud platforms and services Extensive experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI) Knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, ELK Stack) Preferred Qualifications Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer) Experience with multi-cloud environments Knowledge of service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd) Experience with HashiCorp tools (Vault, Consul) Background in software development Experience with GitOps practices Knowledge of compliance requirements (SOC 2, ISO 27001) Technical Environment IaC : Terraform, CloudFormation CI/CD : GitHub Actions, Jenkins Version Control : Git, GitHub Scripting : Python, Bash Security : HashiCorp Vault, CertManager The Offer Comprehensive extended health and dental benefits RRSP matching program (up to 5%) Health and wellness allowance Decode talent is committed to working with you in the next steps of your career.
