Are you an Estimator who knows the numbers on complex interior strip-outs, but also wants the opportunity to bid on structural and excavation projects? MAGCOR Demolition is looking for a Senior Estimator to lead our commercial bidding department. We are a premier demolition contractor in the GTA. Our core reputation is built on precision manual demolition and interior strip-outs, but we also own a fleet of heavy equipment that we are looking to utilize more aggressively. We need someone to take the reins on our commercial tender pipeline immediately, while helping us strategize and win more machine-based work. The Role You will replace our outgoing Senior Estimator and manage our active commercial bid pipeline. You must be a master of labor production rates —knowing exactly what it takes to gut an office, retail space, or industrial unit by hand. Simultaneously, you will help us grow. We have the iron (excavators, skid steers) and the team; we need your sharp pencil to help us bid structural and civil projects more competitively. Key Responsibilities Commercial Estimating: Prepare accurate, competitive bids for interior demolition, abatement, and renovation prep (80% of volume). Labor Analysis: accurately forecast crew sizes, timelines, and production rates for manual work. Fleet Strategy: Identify and bid on opportunities to utilize our in-house heavy equipment (structural demo, trenching, grading). Project Handoff: Work closely with Project Managers to ensure budgets and scopes are clear before boots hit the ground. Vendor Management: Negotiate with subcontractors, bin companies, and disposal sites. What We’re Looking For 3+ years of estimating experience in Demolition, Restoration, or Construction . Deep understanding of labor costs and productivity rates in the GTA market. Ability to read blueprints and navigate tender documents. Bonus: Experience pricing excavation, grading, or structural demolition. Software: Proficiency in Planswift, Bluebeam, or similar is preferred; strong Excel skills are a must. Why Join MAGCOR?
