Sessional Lecturer – STAC33H3 – Introduction to Applied Statistics Join to apply for the Sessional Lecturer – STAC33H3 – Introduction to Applied Statistics role at University of Toronto – Woodsworth College . Course Code and Title: STAC33H3 – Introduction to Applied Statistics. Course Description: This course introduces students to statistical software such as R and SAS and its use in analyzing data. Emphasis will be placed on communication and the explanation of findings. Students will be required to write a statistical report. Lecture Section: LEC01 – TUE 12–1pm & THU 2–3pm. Course Enrollment (est.): 100–120. Number of Positions (est.): One. Qualifications: Previous teaching experience as the instructor of a statistics course at the 3rd‑year university level or higher (required). Previous teaching experience with STAC33H3 or equivalent (strongly desirable). Rate of pay is $15,000 per half‑course, higher than the posted amount. Duties: Design and teach an in‑person university credit course. Prepare and deliver course content; develop, administer, and mark assignments, tests, and exams; calculate and submit grades; submit any deferred exams. Hold regular office hours; supervise teaching assistants assigned to the course. Estimated TA support: 55 hours per tutorial. Sessional dates of appointment: January 5 – April 30, 2026. Salary per session: Sessional Lecturer I – $9,820.70 Sessional Lecturer I (Long Term) – $10,510.04 Sessional Lecturer II – $10,510.04 Sessional Lecturer II (Long Term) – $10,760.28 Sessional Lecturer III – $10,760.28 Sessional Lecturer III (Long Term) – $11,030.36 Application Instructions: Please apply online at (do not send applications through SuccessFactors).
