Sessional Lecturer - MGAB02H3 University of Toronto - Woodsworth College Position: Sessional Lecturer (Emergency) for MGAB02 Introductory Financial Accounting II Course Details Course Code and Title: MGAB02 Introductory Financial Accounting II (Emergency) Lecture Section: WE 15-17, TH 11-13 Course Description: This course is a continuation of MGAB01H3. Students are encouraged to take it immediately after completing MGAB01H3. Technical topics include the reporting and interpretation of debt and equity issues, owners' equity, cash flow statements and analysis. Through cases, choices of treatment and disclosure are discussed, and the development of professional judgment is encouraged. Estimated Enrollment: 60 Number of Openings: 2 Qualifications Minimum qualifications: Experience teaching senior students in university and a Ph.D. degree is required. Demonstrated excellence in teaching or presenting and mastery of the subject area. Preferred qualifications: IIn addition to the minimum, several years related progressive professional experience. Previous experience teaching a related course at UTSC with consistent, strong course evaluations. For the candidate to be fully qualified, having CPA/ACCA is preferred, together with experience in teaching similar courses. Duties All normal duties related to the design and teaching of a university credit course, including preparation and delivery of course content; development, administration, and marking of assignments, tests, and exams; calculation and submission of grades, holding regular office hours, and maintaining reasonable availability for student and administrative contact, supervision of T.A. assigned to course. Estimated TA support: Approximately 50 minutes per student enrolled over 30.
