Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Base pay range $50.00/hr - $50.00/hr The software sector continues to struggle with prolonged release timelines and defect-laden products, primarily because testing methodologies remain stuck in the past. Even when paired with rudimentary automation, conventional QA approaches consistently miss critical defects until it's too late, resulting in expensive setbacks and dissatisfied end users. Industry data reveals that more than 60% of software defects surface after release, with quality failures imposing an annual cost exceeding $2 trillion on the software industry globally. Meeting the rising need for quicker, more dependable software requires a fundamental transformation in quality assurance strategy. IgniteTech is spearheading this transformation by embedding GenAI capabilities throughout the entire QA lifecycle. We leverage artificial intelligence to replicate user interactions, produce intricate test scenarios, and examine defect patterns, enabling us to ship releases faster while maintaining lower defect rates. When you join our team, you position yourself at the cutting edge of this innovation, using AI to remove bottlenecks and anticipate issues before they materialize. This position differs significantly from conventional QA roles. If your goal is to work in a traditional setting focused on manual test runs or routine automation maintenance, you should look elsewhere. In this role, you will take ownership of designing and advancing AI-powered test automation architectures, apply predictive analytics to surface latent risks, and contribute directly to redefining software quality standards. You will function as the designer of adaptable, scalable solutions suited to contemporary development challenges—not a participant in an inflexible, legacy workflow. If this aligns with the career advancement you've been seeking, submit your application today and influence the trajectory of software development. What You Will Be Doing Design, deploy, and sustain AI-driven test automation frameworks capable of generating test cases, scripts, and datasets for thorough validation Apply GenAI technologies to evaluate test results, detect defect patterns, and deliver actionable recommendations for ongoing enhancement Model user interactions, stress scenarios, and boundary conditions to identify potential failures before they reach end users Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer Key Responsibilities Leverage AI and automation technologies to accelerate product release cycles and reduce the incidence of product defects Basic Requirements AI-First Mindset (if your default approach is to write code manually first and only then use AI tools for validation or refinement, rather than starting with AI, please do not apply) A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in QA automation Strong command of Selenium and at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Java, JavaScript Demonstrable professional experience applying AI tools to automate quality assurance processes Working knowledge of CI/CD systems such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions About IgniteTech World-class talent. 100% global remote.
