Magnet Search Group is helping our client, a leading Consumer Products Organization (food focused) with big brands look for a National Sales Strategy Manager to join their team. This individual will be responsible for the development and implementation of sales planning processes that align with the strategic goals of the business. This individual will provide guidance on tools, process improvements, and management of optimization projects. Ultimately, they are leading the organization’s efforts to improve gross margin & sales process. Responsibilities Optimize existing processes for sales strategy with the goal of improving efficiency and achieving forecast accuracy and net sales targets Support Category teams to develop a future year marketing plan aligned with customer needs and executable Develop and lead annual customer/channel and trade planning process to deliver Gross Sales, Net Sales and Trade targets, ensuring linkage to brand/category strategies Own promotional strategy; handles post-event promotion analytics, including guideline development and changes to promo calendar for top customers Identify opportunities, risks and solutions that balance customer and business needs. Create category stories to support the execution of the 4P trade strategy across regions and channels Own the communication of customer forecasts and impact of key demand drivers to internal stakeholders, to inform aligned demand plan. Candidate Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or any other relevant field Minimum of 6 years of business experience, preferably spent in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) environment Critical understanding of Sales planning and Trade management as they mutually impact business planning Strong communication and negotiation skills – ability to drive influence data focused conversations and decision-making Excellent English written and oral communication skills Seniority Level Mid-Senior level Employment Type Full-time Job Function Sales, Business Development, and Strategy/Planning Industries Food and Beverage Manufacturing, Food and Beverage Retail, and Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
