The Opportunity:


The Director of Global Implementations will lead Flextrack’s implementation strategy, serving as a subject matter expert and strategic advisor to clients. This role ensures a seamless transition from sales handoff to post-implementation success while overseeing the Project Management Office (PMO) to maintain governance, scheduling, and best practices for efficient project execution.


This is a hands-on leadership role that requires both direct client engagement and the ability to mentor a team. The Director will work closely with cross-functional teams—including IT Delivery, Solutions Delivery, and Customer Success—to manage implementations of varying sizes and complexities. Additionally, they will lead a team of Implementation Managers, ensuring smooth client transitions and successful outcomes.


This is a remote position, and we will consider candidates located in the USA or Canada.


Day to day you will:


Global Implementation Strategy & Execution:


  • Lead the global implementation strategy for Flextrack VMS, establishing best practices and standardized solutions.
  • Directly oversee high-priority or complex client implementations to ensure successful, timely, and budget-conscious project completion.
  • Establish governance structures, manage risks, and ensure alignment with Flextrack’s strategic goals.
  • Oversee multiple global projects, balancing resources, scope, and client expectations.


PMO Leadership:


  • Develop and maintain project schedules and resource plans to optimize implementation efficiency.
  • Proactively identify and address potential risks or roadblocks in the implementation process.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for clients and Implementation Managers, ensuring swift resolution of issues.
  • Continuously improve implementation methodologies and PMO processes to drive operational excellence.


Implementation Management:


  • Foster strong client relationships throughout the implementation lifecycle, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, statements of work, RACIs, status reports, RAID logs, and change management plans.
  • Provide guidance to Implementation Managers to ensure smooth execution and accountability for project outcomes.


Collaboration with Sales and Customer Success:


  • Partner with the Sales team to support pre-sales activities by defining implementation roadmaps and ensuring accurate scoping.
  • Work closely with the Customer Success team post-implementation to ensure client adoption and satisfaction with Flextrack VMS.



It would be amazing if you have:


  • 8-10 years or more of experience in project management, client implementation, or program management within a SaaS environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • 5+ years managing the implementation of VMS, MSP or other Contingent Workforce solutions
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale global implementations, from pre-sales to delivery and post-implementation support.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams, working with technical, product, and customer-facing teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS deployment and integration processes, including working with technical teams to align product delivery with client needs.
  • Experience managing a PMO, establishing processes, schedules, and risk management strategies to ensure successful project execution.
  • Experience with Salesforce would be an asset
