Position Summary We are seeking a Maintenance Asisstant to join our Maintenance team at our Hagersville facility. This entry-level role supports daily maintenance activities and preventive maintenance programs to help ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations in a regulated dairy manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience and developing technical skills within industrial maintenance. Key Responsibilities Assist Maintenance Technicians with routine maintenance and repair tasks Support preventive maintenance (PM) activities and related documentation Prepare tools, materials, and parts required for maintenance work Perform basic mechanical tasks under supervision Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance work areas Follow Health & Safety, GMP, HACCP, and WHMIS requirements Assist with parts handling, inventory organization, and restocking Communicate maintenance-related observations to the Maintenance team Attend required training and perform other duties as assigned Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent Interest in maintenance, mechanical work, or industrial operations Manufacturing or food processing experience is an asset but not required Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Ability to work safely and collaboratively in a team environment Reliable transportation and ability to commute to the Hagersville facility Ability to perform physical job duties, including lifting up to 40 lbs Why Join Us Competitive group insurance, RRSP, and DPSP programs.
