This role focuses on IT and technology-related agreements and requires strong drafting, negotiation, stakeholder management, and organizational skills. The position interacts closely with Sourcing, Legal, Business Lines, and external vendors to support end-to-end contract lifecycle activities. Key Responsibilities: Review contracts and negotiate them according to bank standards and guidelines. Negotiate, draft, and support agreements including outsourcing, managed services, statements of work, SaaS, cloud services, hardware purchases, and software licensing contracts. Organize, influence, and manage a portfolio of contracts throughout the negotiation process. Provide subject matter expertise in reviewing, drafting, and executing IT contracts . Act as a key interface between Sourcing, Legal, external vendors, and internal business partners including Senior Management. Ensure contracts align with business objectives and legal requirements. Work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Maintain strong communication with business partners, executives, and vendors. Utilize MS Office tools to support contract development, documentation, and communication needs. Required Experience: Post‑secondary education. 5–7 years of contract management or related experience. Legal background or exposure to legal terminology is an asset. Nice‑to‑Have Experience: Negotiation experience within the financial industry. Exposure to regulatory environments affecting banking or technology contracts. Required Skills: Ability to negotiate legal terms effectively. Strong communication skills. Excellent drafting and negotiation capability. Skilled in contract review and analysis. Preferred Skills: Broad understanding of IT frameworks and technology-related agreements. Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills. Highly organized, proactive, and self‑motivated. Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities. Proficiency in MS Office suite. Additional Skills: Experience managing contract lifecycles end-to-end. Ability to function as a liaison between cross‑functional and external teams. Understanding of sourcing processes. Strong attention to detail.
