Our Client, a Banking company, is looking for a Contract Manager for their Toronto, ON/Hybrid location. Responsibilities Review contracts and negotiate them according to the banks standards Responsibilities include negotiating, drafting and ongoing support of contracts including but not limited to outsourcing, managed services, statements of work, software as a service, cloud computing services, hardware purchase and software licensing agreements. The Contract Manager will use their skills, knowledge and expertise to: (i) Organize, influence and manage a portfolio of contracts supporting all aspects of the negotiation of the contract; (ii) Provide subject matter expertise in the review, negotiation, drafting, implementation and execution of Contracts, primarily IT Contracts; (iii) act as an interface between Sourcing, Legal, external vendors and the Business Lines, interfacing at all levels within the organization including Senior Management. Requirements Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills, in particular in the area of IT Contracts Strong broad-based understanding of IT Ability to achieve business objectives through influencing and effectively working with key stakeholders Highly organized, proactive, self‑motivated team player who takes initiative and is able to work independently Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment managing multiple priorities with proven time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable and confident communicating at all levels including business partners, Executives and Vendors Demonstrated high proficiency with MS Office suite of products. Preference will be given to individuals who possess a background in sourcing coupled with contract management experience. Must‑have hard skills: Ability to negotiate legal terms Strong communication skills Excellent drafting and negotiation skills Reviewing contracts Attention to detail Negotiation in the FI industry Exposure to the regulatory space This is a job for a Contract Manager.
