The Engagement Advisor position, within the Department of Highways and Public Works, focuses on Indigenous relations and public service engagement. This one‑year term (May 2026 to April 2027) will allow you to develop practical skills in Indigenous consultation, learn how the Government of Yukon fulfills its duty to consult across all departments, and contribute to broader reconciliation efforts. Salary: 80% of the starting salary – $65,006 . Experience conducting research is an asset. Additional Information Must be a resident of Yukon or a person of Yukon First Nations ancestry* Have graduated with a diploma or degree from a recognized post‑secondary institution within the past two years (2024, 2025 or 2026 graduates – all requirements for graduation must be complete before internship start date). Have little or no work experience in your field of study.
