The Role:


Our client is looking for a Real Estate Notary to join their team in Montréal. In this role, you will provide expert legal advice on a range of real estate matters, including residential and commercial transactions, leasing agreements, property development, and land use planning. You will support one Senior Lawyer, who you will directly report to, and you will have the support of Law Clerks to assist with your caseload.



Your responsibilities will also include:


· Handling a high volume of real estate files with diligence and expertise.

· Contributing to the residential real estate portfolio.

· Embracing a dynamic work environment with high caseload volume.

· Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, and other real estate documents.

· Advising clients on legal matters related to real estate.

· Representing clients in real estate matters.

· Providing legal support and guidance to other team members as needed.

· Keeping abreast of changes in real estate laws and regulations.


What We’re Looking For:


· Quebec Lawyer License.

· Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience with real estate files.

· A strong desire for career growth and a collaborative team spirit.

· Proficiency with MS Office, conveyancer/unity, Teraview, and PCLaw.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· Ability to multi-task, manage priorities, and maintain excellent organizational skills.

· Resourceful, solution-focused, and driven to excel.
