Pave Talent is hiring on behalf of our client, a well-established IT services provider, seeking a talented Enterprise Systems Engineer focused on Networking to join their growing team. Your Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of complex network infrastructure for various client environments, including WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and cloud networking. Architect scalable, redundant, and secure network solutions, focusing on segmentation, high availability, and performance optimization. Serve as the Tier-3 escalation point for advanced routing, switching, firewall, and cloud networking issues. Execute project plans, manage concurrent projects, and ensure deliverables meet scope, timeline, and budget requirements. Develop and maintain network documentation, standards, and procedures. Troubleshoot complex network problems involving technologies like multicast (PIM), Spanning Tree, VLANs, and link aggregation. Collaborate with internal teams and clients, assist with pre-sales technical efforts, and draft Statements of Work (SOWs). Qualifications Minimum 10+ years in network engineering, including design and implementation, preferably in enterprise or MSP settings. Active Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification or equivalent demonstrated experience. Deep proficiency with Cisco IOS, including CLI configuration of switches and firewalls. Expertise in Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), VLANs, and multicast (including PIM routing). Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki is essential. Experience managing enterprise-scale network environments. Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, and firewall management. Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and backup solutions. Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Entra ID. Strong understanding of security best practices (MFA, encryption, SSL). Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work core hours overlapping with Pacific Time Zone (9 AM - 3 PM PST required availability). Why Join?
