Department : Global Sales

Reports to: USA Sales Manager - USA


Summary: The primary responsibility of this position is to create, build, and execute comprehensive sales and distribution plans for Sendero in the specified region that will result in robust revenue generation and ensure long term success.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned on an as needed basis)

  • Create/achieve sales plans by account and product category.
  • Track YOY / Seasonal and category growth within the specified account base
  • Supports US Sales Manager with development of new businesses and management of prospective customers by helping with account setup.
  • Develops customer sales strategies by category to achieve sales goals as established by the USA Sales Manager
  • Develops and leads presentations during sell in; conducts business reviews using company resources and collaborates with the customer to provide quarterly product forecasts.
  • Forecasts weekly sales and special projects
  • Provides analysis of account sales, inventory, marketing initiatives and merchandising presentations.
  • Provides recap of customer meetings with action items and follows up with all parties to ensure completion of tasks.
  • Achieve sales plans for accounts within territory
  • Build sales plans for specified territory, in cooperation with the sales manager(s)
  • Develop contact with potential customers in the industry by cold calling, emailing or scheduling meetings in person.
  • Form new and continue existing relationships with retailers in the customer database by visiting them in person
  • Maintain a strong understanding about product inventory, features, and technical specifications to answer specific customer questions.
  • Present information about company offerings during trade shows or other large events to potential customers.
  • Create new methods or strategies to help reach monthly goals for product revenue to increase company profitability.
  • Give customers in-person product demonstrations and teach them about the features and benefits of each item the company offers.
  • Attend weekly sales team meetings and provide information to management about sales figures, goals and obstacles.
  • Assist in visual merchandising when needed


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 5+ years of outside sales experience.
  • 5+ years prior experience in the apparel industry is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of ERP and B2B systems.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to build new processes, policies and reporting tools to streamline and improve operations.
  • Skilled in Excel, Word, and other Office tools.
