Overview As a Talent Acquisition Specialist working in the Talent, Culture & Leadership team at Pomerleau Construction, you will play a pivotal role in the future success of the business operations through your recruitment expertise. Recruiting a variety of roles to support our large-scale building and infrastructure projects – ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion – you will own the candidate and hiring manager experience from start to finish. Responsibilities Own the full recruitment process from intake to offer signatures, strategically sourcing, interviewing and providing feedback to your client groups. Get creative with sourcing techniques, tapping into the best resources for each requisition. Take full ownership of the candidate experience, acting as a brand ambassador and developing creative ways to showcase Pomerleau’s initiatives and becoming a top employer of choice. Deliver exceptional customer service through the experiences and guidance you provide to your client groups. Think one step ahead, connecting with passive candidates and building strategic talent pipelines for upcoming project work. Assist new hire employee integrations, supporting onboarding and providing additional assistance where needed. Network locally, supporting the development of Pomerleau’s employer branding and creating memorable first impressions. Act as the strategic support and subject matter expert for client groups, providing coaching and thought leadership on recruitment best practices, interviewing techniques and candidate experiences. Qualifications 5+ years of Talent Acquisition experience, preferably in construction or high‑tech industry. Strong knowledge of recruitment metrics and ability to articulate a solid track record. Excellent relationship‑building skills with internal and external stakeholders and client groups. Extensive sourcing experience (Boolean and X‑ray search) utilizing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
