Outask is a warehouse execution startup company based in the GTA. Most warehouse labour is still sold by the hour, leaving operators with inconsistent performance, overtime, and constant supervision. We do it differently: we scope the task, agree standards and timelines, and take responsibility for completion at a fixed price (devanning, pallet re‑org, labeling, rework, backlog clearance, etc.). The model is already proven on real jobs. We have an initial ICP, pricing guardrails, target lists, and tested outbound messaging. We’re not trying to be a “better temp agency” — we’re building a new category: task‑based warehouse execution. This role is a chance to be part of the day‑one team defining it. Role Summary Outask can deliver operationally. Your role is to help turn early wins into a repeatable revenue engine by: Working directly with the lead on targeting, messaging, and offers Owning outbound and early conversations with warehouse decision‑makers Turning first jobs into repeat business Laying the groundwork for a future commercial team You’ll be both operator and builder. Key Responsibilities Refine ICP and targeting with the lead (who we pursue, who we decline) Take current pricing/offers to market and give clear feedback on where to adjust Use and expand target lists of warehouses, 3PLs, and logistics operators in the GTA Run consistent outbound via phone, email, and LinkedIn Book and lead/assist discovery conversations with operations/warehouse leaders Move opportunities toward paid pilots and repeat work Document what works into basic playbooks for future hires What We’re Looking For Mindset You want to help build something that outlives your title — a better model for how warehouse work is bought and delivered. You’ve seen how staffing/logistics/B2B sales is usually done and thought: “If we started this from scratch, we’d do it differently.” You want to sit close to the problem and help design the playbook, not just follow one. You’re okay with less structure at the start in exchange for real influence on how things are built. Experience & skills Experience in B2B sales / business development (SDR/BDR/AE/BD) Proven outbound experience: you’ve built and owned your own pipeline Experience selling into logistics, warehousing, staffing, trades, or similar ops‑driven environments is a plus You’ve adjusted messaging/approach based on field feedback, not just read a script Strong prospecting habits and follow-through; you can run a steady weekly rhythm Clear, direct communication and comfort handling “we already have an agency/vendor” Compensation Performance‑heavy to start: commission on closed business with a clear structure As revenue milestones are hit, the role transitions into: A structured base + commission plan A defined path toward commercial leadership Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Outask by 2x.
