New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Business Analyst to help our client on projects for the upgrade, replacement, or implementation of IT infrastructure. The role will require technical, communication, deliver, and leadership skills to provide analysis and support on project activities including network infrastructure assessments, requirements gathering, vendor interactions, documentation, and implementation planning.

Responsibilities:


  • Conduct thorough analysis of the current state of various infrastructure systems, identifying critical issues related to obsolete hardware and software.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather detailed requirements for transitioning outdated systems to meet client's technical standards and potential future growth.
  • Assess current capacity limitations and plan for improving capacity and resiliency for both older and new facilities.
  • Evaluate risks associated and evaluating the potential impacts on critical clinical and business operations.
  • Identify system improvements and potential dependencies with other organization project initiatives.
  • Collaborate with network infrastructure teams to assess and document the current state, identifying remediation requirements for a robust network.
  • Interface with vendors to gather information on end-of-support status, delivery timelines and technical readiness prerequisites.
  • Create detailed documentation for the migration and transition plan, including timelines, dependencies, and milestones.
  • Support the establishment a communication plan to keep stakeholders informed of progress, risks, and changes for business initiatives.
  • Provide inputs for implementation roadmaps that addresses priority, sequencing, and financial feasibility.
  • Support the development of business cases, ensuring clear and convincing rationales for business cases delivered to senior managers and project governance.


Requirements:


  • 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Experience in large-scale healthcare migration or integration projects.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.
  • Certifications in Business Analysis and/or Project Management preferred.
  • Experience in network infrastructure assessment and remediation (highly desired).
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills, able to work independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize requests, manage laterally and upwards.
  • Vendor management experience - scoping, milestone governance, progress evaluation, tendering and contract management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent proficiency with MS Office toolsets (Word, Excel, Visio, Project).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
