Apply for one of our rewarding positions today Assessment Content Coordinator Full Time Permanent Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Hybrid role As an Assessment Content Coordinator, you’ll play an important part in delivering high‑quality exams that help shape the future of medical professionals in Canada. Reporting to the Team Leader, Content Development, you’ll support the coordination of several MCC assessments, including the MCCQE Part I, the Therapeutics & Decision‑Making (TDM) Exam, the NAC Exam, and related preparatory products. You’ll be a key player in ensuring exam days run seamlessly, from early preparation and coordination to delivery, administration, and post‑assessment follow‑up. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will help keep everything on track and uphold the MCC’s commitment to fairness, consistency, and excellence in assessment. What You’ll Do Assist the Assessment Content Developers (ACD) in the planning and logistics of in‑person and virtual content development meetings. Develop and distribute materials to support content development meetings (e.g., guides, technical documents). Support the ACDs and participants during meetings; help with troubleshooting technical issues in virtual settings. Support subject‑matter experts (SME) in using the content management system or other applications. Track and update committee membership and communicate with members and SMEs. Assist with post‑meeting processes, including data entry, communications, surveys, expenses, and credit letters. Administer user access including permission levels to the preparatory products portal and Item/Form Review systems. Participate in QA/testing for session set‑up. Run mock tests. Ensure data systems and outputs are configured properly and send to Assessment Content Development Team. Track and log system related issues and liaise with vendors to resolve system issues. Respond to Candidate Support Team questions and to escalated incidents as they relate to the exam system performance. Experience 3 years of experience in an operational environment. 2 to 3 years' experience in project/program coordination. Technical Skills Ability to communicate effectively, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French. Demonstrated proficiency working with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams). Ability to work both independently as well as in team settings within a fast‑paced, multifaceted environment. Proficiency in the use of new technologies, early adopter and keen to learn. Knowledge of and ability to quickly learn and work with internal databases and applications. Competencies High standards of customer service excellence. Teamwork and cooperation skills. Responsiveness to time‑sensitive requests. Strict attention to detail. Strong organizational skills. Capacity to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communications abilities. Education Post‑secondary education in administration or related equivalent experience. Language Advanced oral and written skills in English and French are required.
