Regional Sales Manager – Canada Montreal Sales – Full-time – Remote Join the Wingtra team and become part of this venture‑backed robotics scaleup with a global and international team of 125+ dedicated Wingtranauts who want to see their actions have a positive and lasting impact on the world. Founded more than 8 years ago at ETH Zurich, Europe’s leading robotics university, our goal is to build the best aerial robots to digitize the world at the push of a button and provide data solutions to many industries. In this role, you will play a key role in expanding our sales activities across Canada and moving closer to end customers. This is a high‑energy position, requiring high flexibility, proactive and persistent interactions with clients. You will have the unique chance to be part of the emerging drone industry and become an expert on various applications. This role can be pursued remotely from anywhere in Canada, ideally situated near a major airport. Responsibilities Work closely with incumbent partners to generate new opportunities and close deals consistently. Manage and develop reseller partnerships across the region as well as close direct business together with our dealers. Generate partner leads and negotiate new partner agreements. Develop sales strategies to expand Wingtra’s footprint in the Canadian market. Expand relationships by continuously proposing solutions that meet our customers’ objectives. Learn about customer use cases, market opportunities and post‑process customer learnings for Wingtra’s strategy development. Develop relationships with prospective customers (inbound & outbound) to identify their potential needs and qualify them as sales opportunities. Be a strong promoter of our product and brand on the target market. Create and maintain customer data in CRM tools (Hubspot). Requirements Proven experience (3‑5 years) in B2B sales or equivalent business development experience. Strong aptitude for selling to target customers while building lasting relationships with distribution partners. Comfortable driving both large enterprise opportunities with long sales cycles and dynamically closing smaller faster‑paced inbound opportunities. Experience providing solutions based on customer needs. Tech savviness working with Hubspot or other CRM and communication tools. Persuasive, independent, at ease negotiating and developing trust. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English. Willingness to travel frequently (up to 60%). Ability to acquire Transport Canada’s Basic Pilot Certification. Additional Qualifications Business command of French. Expertise in surveying and mapping around the mining, engineering, and construction verticals. Previous experience in working with image post‑processing software like Pix4D, Agisoft, TBC, Leica, ESRI.
