We speak the language of modern people operations and help businesses optimize their HR processes with Rippling’s suite of tools. About the Role As an HR Consultant, you will be responsible for executing and optimizing core HR operations for our clients using Rippling. This is a hands‑on, delivery‑focused role centered on managing payroll, improving and maintaining HRIS workflows, implementing new Rippling modules, and supporting employee onboarding and offboarding. You will work directly in client systems to automate processes, ensure compliance, and keep day‑to‑day HR operations running smoothly. Success in this role is measured by accuracy, efficiency, and outcomes—not strategy decks or theoretical recommendations. Your HR Generalist experience and operational expertise will enable clients to scale with confidence, knowing their HR infrastructure is well‑built, well‑run, and reliable. Our team partners closely with clients to deliver practical, high‑impact solutions through execution. This role is a 6‑month contract opportunity with the potential for extension. What You’ll Do Partner with clients to implement and optimize Rippling’s HR modules, including HRIS, payroll, benefits, performance management, and talent acquisition. Fractionally support clients as an embedded HR partner including onboarding/offboarding, Rippling (HRIS) administration, payroll management, benefits administration. Serve as the primary point of contact for HR advisory, payroll, compliance, and best practices, helping clients align HR processes with their broader business goals. Configure and customize Rippling’s platform to meet the specific needs of each client, ensuring seamless integration with their existing systems. Provide guidance on compliance with Canadian and US employment laws, tax regulations, and HR policies, ensuring businesses remain compliant. Troubleshoot system issues, recommend process improvements, and implement automation where possible to enhance efficiency. Conduct training sessions for client teams on Rippling functionalities, empowering them to leverage the platform effectively. Support HR-related reporting, analytics, and audits, ensuring data integrity across workforce management systems. Advise on talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, and other key HR functions within Rippling. What We’re Looking For 4+ years as an HR Generalist , with a strong focus on operational HR and day‑to‑day execution Proven experience using HR technology to automate and optimize workflows ; comfortable working inside a robust HRIS 2+ years of hands‑on HRIS experience , including system configuration and process improvement (Rippling experience a plus) At least 1 year of payroll experience ; US and/or Canada payroll and compliance experience is a plus Experience in a consulting environment or managing multiple stakeholders/clients is preferred Strong knowledge of US and/or Canadian employment regulations and HR compliance A solutions‑driven, automation‑first mindset with a bias toward action and measurable outcomes Clear communicator with high standards for professionalism, discretion, and data confidentiality thePeopleStack is an equal opportunity employer and considers applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, religion or belief, sex, age, national origin, citizenship status, marital status, military/veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, physical or mental disability, or other protected group status. #J-18808-Ljbffr
