Why Work Here?
You will join a close-knit, collaborative team in a plant where people support each other and build strong working relationships. The company offers long-term development opportunities, with many leaders and office staff having started in the plant and progressed into supervisory and management roles. You can participate in a comprehensive benefits package that includes long-term disability, life insurance, and group retirement savings plans with company contributions after the eligibility period. The organization supports employees with expense reimbursements for work boots, tools, and outerwear once hired directly. You can enjoy regular recognition through prize draws at monthly lunch meetings, bonuses, gift cards, and branded clothing around holidays and in the summer. The vacation policy is flexible, with increased vacation percentages after 5 and 10 years, and a health spending account available for employees with longer tenure, reflecting a strong commitment to long-term employee well-being.
Work Environment
The plant is located in a small-town setting with a friendly, team-oriented culture where coworkers get along well, collaborate closely, and often spend breaks together. Teams typically range from 2 to 5 people, depending on whether you are assigned to floors, walls, or truss areas. The facility is not fully climate-controlled, so you should be prepared to work in varying temperatures, including heat or cold depending on the weather and your location in the plant; large industrial fans are in place to improve air circulation.
