Job Description IT Procurement Specialist We’re a naan traditional company… Summary The IT Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing the acquisition of information technology goods and services. This role works closely with IT, Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders to ensure cost-effective, compliant, and timely procurement aligned with organizational standards and strategic objectives. Unleashing Your Potential Competitive Compensation, Health Benefits, & a generous flexible medical / Health spending account RRSP matching program Tuition reimbursement Discount program that covers almost everything under the sun - Restaurants, gyms, shopping etc. Primary Responsibilities Manage end-to-end procurement of IT hardware, software, cloud services, and professional services Lead vendor sourcing, RFPs, RFQs, and contract negotiations to achieve optimal commercial and contractual terms Support licensing management, renewals, true-ups, and audits for software and SaaS vendors Review, negotiate, and coordinate contracts, Statements of Work, NDAs, and amendments in collaboration with Legal Partner with IT and business teams to understand requirements, timelines, and technical constraints Ensure procurement activities comply within internal policies, security standards, and financial controls Maintain accurate vendor, contract, and asset records within procurement and ERP systems Track spend, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and support budget planning and forecasting Manage vendor performance, escalations, and ongoing supplier relationships Support PO creation, invoice validation, and coordination with Accounts Payable Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Supply Chain, or a related field 3 - 6 years of experience in IT procurement, sourcing, or vendor management Strong understanding of software licensing models, SaaS agreements, and IT infrastructure purchasing Experience negotiating contracts and commercial terms with technology vendors Familiarity with ERP platforms, and ticketing systems. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with IT, facilities, security, finance, and external contractors to ensure successful project delivery Hands‑on experience managing IT hardware installation and deployment vendors, including cabling, network infrastructure, security systems, and on‑site services Experience supporting a multi‑site organization with geographically distributed locations and varying operational requirements Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent procurement initiatives in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment Familiarity with professional services engagements, Statements of Work, and vendor performance management What is the recipe for a great career at FGF?
