Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical or Geological Engineering; Master’s or PhD preferred. Professional degree and registration preferred where applicable. Professional Designation: Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario. Experience: 20–25 years in geotechnical engineering, including 10+ years in senior leadership or technical director roles; 15 years in earth and environment sector in Ontario and Atlantic Canada, including 10 years in pursuits/proposals for engineering design or construction services. Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of geotechnical investigations, foundation systems, slope stability, and geohazard assessment; experience with offshore and nearshore geotechnical projects, pipeline routing, and complex ground modeling; proficiency in geotechnical software, GIS, and data management. Leadership & Strategic Impact: Demonstrated leadership on key projects, strong seller-doer capabilities, collaborative approach, market assessment knowledge, entrepreneurial business development orientation, experience leading large multidisciplinary teams, and strategic thinking with client relationship and operational oversight. Communication: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Professional Associations: Active membership in relevant industry bodies.
