Key Responsibilities Serve as lead engineer for subsurface exploration, foundation design, and construction across transportation, infrastructure, property and building developments. Drive growth, innovation and project delivery within WSP’s Earth & Environment Business Line. Develop and nurture client relationships, securing new work opportunities. Lead engineering projects, managing design‑build & design‑bid‑build operations with multidisciplinary teams. Support all aspects of project delivery: financial analysis, client liaison, quality control, subcontractor management. Produce technical reports, memoranda, specifications, presentations, proposals and cost estimates for medium‑large projects. Represent WSP at conferences/workshops as technical lead. Mentor geotechnical staff and guide technical challenges. Collaborate with engineering teams across disciplines. Exercise responsible decision‑making, uphold WSP’s Code of Conduct and promote a safety‑first culture. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Geological or Geotechnical Engineering. Postgraduate degree in Geotechnical Engineering preferred. 12+ years post‑degree experience in consulting engineering. Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with PEO. Experience in business development, analysis, and design. Extensive knowledge of applicable codes and standards. Experience presenting technical topics to clients. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Strong verbal and written communication. Proven ability to manage budgets and schedules. Valid Ontario Driver’s License and reliable vehicle.
