AECOM is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our Markham office. You’ll work on a variety of projects and develop your technical skills with guidance from senior geotechnical engineers. Key Responsibilities Plan and carry out geotechnical investigations for transportation, municipal, energy, and commercial projects. Oversee field investigations, site inspections, and prepare borehole logs and reports. Support foundation design, slope stability, and settlement analyses. Provide technical input and project management support for ongoing projects. Prepare technical proposals and reports. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Ontario and Canada. Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. Travel occasionally for field work (e.g., drilling site assessments). Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree in Geotechnical, Geological, or Civil Engineering. 4 years of relevant geotechnical or civil engineering experience. Preferred Qualifications Masters degree in Geotechnical or related engineering discipline. . designation (or eligibility for registration with PEO). 6 years of consulting or geotechnical design experience. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Experience managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines. Knowledge of soil and rock mechanics QA / QC and construction oversight. Familiarity with geotechnical software (e.g., PLAXIS, GeoStudio, Settle3D, gINT, AutoCAD). Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word). Valid G-class drivers license.
