We are looking for a Junior Accountant/Bookkeeper to support our business growth in Toronto. This is a full-time, permanent position. Reconcile bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts. Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports. Assist with payroll processing and payroll reconciliations. Support month-end and year-end closing activities. Maintain organized and accurate accounting records and documentation. Assist with HST/GST filings and other statutory reporting. Support financial management of multiple projects. Analyze project performance and ROI. Prepare basic financial reports and schedules as required. Respond to vendor and internal accounting inquiries. Coordinate internally and externally to support auditing. Identify areas of improvement. Contribute ideas and suggestions. Determine cost-effective alternatives for current and future projects Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned What You Bring To The Table Completion of post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 1-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience in Canada. Currently pursuing or planning to pursue CPA designation. Solid understanding of accounting principles, best practices, standards, and regulations. Experience with accounting software, any experience with Sage or Oracle is an asset Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify key trends, risks, and opportunities. Strong communication skills and a good team player.
