Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with posting journal entries and maintaining the general ledger
  • Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations
  • Respond to internal and external audit requests
  • Perform other accounting and administrative duties as required

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
