Essential Details Location: Ottawa Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level Employment type: Full‑time Job function: Purchasing and Supply Chain Industries: Construction Responsibilities Source and purchase materials for field foremen. Review, maintain, and issue purchase orders to preferred vendors. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers. Review, maintain, and recommend appropriate inventory levels of materials and consumables. Schedule and expedite material deliveries as required.Conduct detailed review of vendor invoices against orders to ensure accuracy and resolve exceptions. Execute material return procedures and secure credits from suppliers. Maintain organized purchase order records. Qualifications & Experience 3+ years of purchasing/procurement experience, ideally in Construction and Mechanical industry. Strong relationship building with wholesalers, suppliers and vendors. Knowledge of mechanical systems and construction industry preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Effective communicator, able to sustain productive relationships at all levels. Resourceful problem‑solver who can manage multiple priorities. Eligibility for reliability security clearance.
