If you have the qualities and drive to lead yourself or teams, there are roles ready to cultivate your skills and take you to the next level.**Job Description:**The UPS Scanner is responsible for accurately scanning, labeling, and sorting packages to ensure they are properly routed through the UPS network. This position plays a key role in maintaining package flow, accuracy, and efficiency during sort operations.Some light computer duties are required.**Responsibilities:**Scan all inbound and outbound packages using a hand-held scanning device.Verify that tracking numbers, destination codes, and service levels are correct.Affix and verify proper labels (address, routing, or rework) as required.Identify and separate packages requiring special handling (e.g., customs holds, damaged, and dangerous goods).Communicate discrepancies or scanning issues to the supervisor immediately.Assist with package reprocessing, or relabeling, when necessary.Follow all UPS safety procedures, and security protocols.Support other areas of the operation as directed by management.**Qualifications:**Excellent communication skillsAccurate typing speed of 40+ words per minuteAvailability to work flexible shift hours and work 5 days a weekData Entry experience - Preferred**Additional Information** :Job Type: PT Permanent/Hourly-**Must be able to work a minimum of 25 hours per week.**Starting Pay:**$17.60**Job Location:**5325 RHODES DRIVE WINDSOR, ON N8N 2M1**Workdays:**Monday u2013 Fridays (5 Days/ Week)**Starting Time:**9:30 am**Scheduled Shift:**Daily minimum 4 hours / maximum 5-6 hours**Flexibility is required as you may need to start earlier or stay later at timesUPS is a diverse and equal opportunity employer.Accommodations are available, on request, for candidates with disabilities taking part in the recruitment process.If you are selected to participate in the recruitment process, please advise if you require accommodation for a disability.
