We're looking for apharmacist ready to take on a key leadership role and contribute to our mission.The incumbent will work closely with the management team to ensure standard operating procedures,policies and applicable laws and regulations are followed. As the Pharmacy Manager, you will havethe opportunity to serve your community through providing personalized pharmacy services and exceptional customer care. You will have a career where you canmake a difference while enjoying your work environment with your team.Responsibilities: • Pharmacy management• Dispensing medications• Filling, preparing, checking and dispensing patient prescriptions• Administration of vaccines and other injectable medication• Providing full scope of practice for patient care including medication reviews• Working collaboratively with patients’ physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensurepositive drug therapy outcomes• Conducting immunization clinics• Engaging in community outreach programs• Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy• Pharmacy inventory maintenance• Ensuring proper preparation, packaging, distribution and storage of vaccines and other drugs andpharmaceuticals• Maintain patient confidentiality• Narcotic and controlled drug accountability and maintenance• All other duties and responsibilities of the pharmacy manager in a community pharmacy setting asset out by the College of Pharmacists of ManitobaQualifications: • Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba• Previous pharmacy manager experience (preferred)• Meet the requirements to be designated pharmacy manager• Certificate of Injection Administration• OAT training and experience with OAT• Ability to work independently and in a team setting• Superior patient and physician relation skills• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal• Excellent leadership and performance management skills• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (preferred)• Working experience with Kroll Pharmacy dispensing software (preferred)Compensation: • Hourly.• Health and dental benefits packageJob Type: Full-time Salary: $60.00/hr Benefits:• Casual dress• Dental care• Disability insurance• Extended health care• Life insurance• On-site parking• Store discount• Vision careP aid annual license feeHours of Operation: Monday - Friday 9am-5pm Sat/Sun/Holiday 10am-4pm Expected start date: as soon as possible.Please submit your resume to: We thank all applicants for their interests, however, only those individuals selected forfuture consideration will be contacted. #J-18808-Ljbffr
