Application Engineering Specialist As a key member of the SolutionAir team, the Application Engineer plays a pivotal role in developing and growing this business unit. The successful candidate will support owners, architects, consulting engineers, contractors and internal customers on the technical application of products. The Successful Candidate's Responsibilities Will Include Supporting customers with quoting, product selection, sales assistance and layout. Selecting products that meet customers’ functional, performance and budgetary requirements. Working directly with Sales Representatives and engineers on new projects. Providing technical support, including the development and testing of applications that satisfy product needs and equipment selections. Training customers in our technical centers or by traveling throughout our distribution network. Creating and presenting detailed technical presentations to customers and management. Assisting in the development of marketing and software tools. Assisting the R&D department with new product development. The Ideal Candidate For This Position Will Have A university degree in Mechanical Engineering. 2-3 years of HVAC experience. An aptitude and desire for customer service excellence. A solid understanding of HVAC, heat transfer, psychrometrics and controls. Self‑motivation and attention to detail. The ability to work in a team environment.
