Application Engineering Specialist
As a key member of the SolutionAir team, the Application Engineer plays a key role in the development and growth of this growing business unit. The successful candidate will provide support to owners, architects, consulting engineers, contractors and internal customers on the technical application of products.

The Successful Candidate's Responsibilities Will Include

• Supporting customers with quoting, product selection, sales assistance and layout.
• Selecting products that fulfil the customers' needs in terms of functionality, performance and budgetary requirements.
• Working directly with Sales Representatives and engineers on new projects.
• Being responsible for providing technical support including the developing and testing of applications that satisfy product needs and equipment selections.
• Training customers in our technical centers, or by travelling throughout our distribution network.
• Creating and presenting detailed technical presentations to customers and management.
• Assisting in the development of marketing and software tools.
• Assisting the R&D department with new product development.

The Ideal Candidate For This Position Will Have

• A university degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2-3 years of HVAC experience.
• An aptitude and desire for customer service excellence.
• A good understanding of HVAC, heat transfer, psychometric and controls.
• Self-motivation and be detail orientated.
• The ability to work in a team environment.
• Consulting experience is viewed as an asset.
