Application Engineering Specialist – Noise Control Key Purpose of the Function Support Price’s sales team and help meet profit goals for the Noise Control Product Line. Provide technical support to internal and external customers to facilitate product specification and sales, including guidance on application, performance, troubleshooting, competitiveness, sales and pricing. Assist the engineering design team on special requests. Educate the industry on noise mitigation using our products. The Successful Candidate’s Responsibilities Select and design layouts for products and accessories. Provide performance data, specifications, and literature to support noise control product sales. Offer guidance on product competitiveness and suitability. Support the bid process, including quoting for special products. Manage projects from initial contact through final client sign‑off. Acknowledge all custom requests within six hours of receipt. Maintain a strong sense of urgency and effectively manage workload. The Ideal Candidate College diploma or university degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering or Physics; experience in Vibrations & Acoustics is an asset. Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills with attention to detail. Innovative, self‑motivated, and able to take initiative. Aptitude and desire for customer service excellence. Ability to work independently and in a team to meet timeline‑dependent deliverables. Basic understanding of HVAC, controls and mechanical systems is an asset. Canadian citizenship preferred for international travel requirements. Service Commitment Respond quickly and thoroughly to internal and external customer inquiries (voice and/or email). Acknowledge receipt or notify if the request is outside scope. If commitments cannot be met, notify the customer and provide a revised response time. Coordinate and validate all project aspects with relevant parties to exceed client expectations.
