Job Description Our basic principle is centered on application virtualization with Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop to enable access to Windows applications from individual workstations. The Citrix Administrator will serve as a senior‑level Citrix expert with operational and design engineering responsibilities for the Citrix scope in the Americas. Responsibilities Work closely with IT teams and business partners to design and implement solutions that meet business needs. Diagnose and resolve complex application connection/performance issues. Ensure that all changes in production are made in accordance with the production lifecycle methodology and risk and change management guidelines. Participate in/on‑call duties, after‑hours interventions, and possibly weekends on a rotating basis with the team, with a flexible schedule. Write and review operational procedures in conjunction with global counterparts in Paris. Escalate incidents to the appropriate level, to the Control Towers and/or Management if necessary. Close and review incidents regularly to improve monitoring and reduce the number of tickets. Mentor other team members as a senior expert. Actively participate in architecture reviews and strategic development activities. Provide L3 support and application support for incident management. Qualifications Several years of relevant experience in IT operations. Experience in Citrix infrastructure administration/support (XenApp and XenDesktop 22.03). Experience in Citrix NetScaler administration/support (13.1+). Experience in Ivanti End User Workspace Management administration/support. Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019. Experience with Windows 11 (a plus). Exposure to other infrastructure areas: Active Directory, VMware, NAS storage, backup & restore, SQL Server, etc. Experience with Active Directory, DNS, PowerShell scripting, and Agile methodologies is appreciated. Experience with VMware and VDI virtualization. Automation/scripting skills (VBScript, CMD, PowerShell). Basic understanding of project management. Excellent communication skills in French and English. English is required as the position involves communicating with clients located outside Quebec.
