Role Overview The HR & Talent Coordinator plays a key role in supporting TAO’s full‑cycle recruitment and people operations, ensuring a seamless, accurate, and high‑quality experience for candidates and employees alike. The role partners closely with the HR Director and hiring managers to coordinate recruitment activities, maintain compliant and well‑structured HR systems, and support onboarding, benefits administration, and employee programs. With a strong focus on process, precision, and professionalism, the HR & Talent Coordinator helps support TAO’s people practices. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail‑driven, and motivated by supporting others in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment and eager to make an impact for the people they’re supporting. Job Duties Talent Support Coordinate full‑cycle recruitment: drafting job descriptions, posting roles, screening resumes for alignment with position requirements, conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews across multiple time zones, managing candidate communication with professionalism and responsiveness Maintain structured and accurate process within our ATS (BambooHR) and LinkedIn Recruiter records to align with ESA requirements Support pipeline development for technical, product, finance, and client‑facing roles Gather details for offer letters and coordinate reference and background checks Identify opportunities to improve recruiting workflows and candidate experience to support our employer brand Support updates to the career and LinkedIn Life pages to showcase our internal culture HR Operations & Employee Experience Maintain and support updating the onboarding process: documentation collection, system and equipment setup coordination, first‑day experience planning Work with the HR Director and other internal stakeholders to update and ensure onboarding program details are accurate and to update the L&D system (TalentLMS & BambooHR) Maintain employee files, records, and HRIS (BambooHR) data with accuracy Support benefits administration and general employee inquiries Participate on the Social Committee and support organizing social and recognition programs that reinforce TAO’s collaborative and people‑first culture Support Health & Safety (JHSC, office inspections, training requirements, etc.) & AODA initiatives and training; prepare employee letters, documentation, and communications as needed Assist the HR Director with performance review cycles, engagement surveys, and talent development initiatives as needed Coordinate with the HR Director to help standardize SOPs for HR and talent processes, ensuring consistency, audit readiness, and alignment with TAO’s high‑precision operating standards Contribute to internal reporting and metrics related to hiring, turnover, and HR program participation Other duties as assigned Qualifications Graduated with a degree or diploma in HR or equivalent work experience 1 to 3 years of experience in HR support, recruiting coordination, or related people operations roles (including co‑op/work integrated learning programs) Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize Ability to communicate clearly with candidates and internal stakeholders High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and maturity Comfort working with data, documentation, and systems with accuracy and consistency Experience with HRIS (BambooHR) and/or ATS systems and other HR tools (TalentLMS, Bonusly, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.) Experience supporting recruitment for technical roles (software engineers, product managers, QA analysts, financial technology roles) Exposure to the financial sector, risk/credit, structured finance, or enterprise SaaS environments considered a strong asset Ability to interpret basic data insights or metrics to support reporting (HR dashboards, hiring pipelines, training compliance, etc.) Detail‑obsessed: accuracy matters and is a priority to you Anticipate needs before they surface and are proactive in solving small problems before they become big ones Thrive in roles where you support others and remove friction from their workday Embrace processes and are comfortable suggesting improvements when something can be done better Care about the candidate experience and understand that every touchpoint reflects our brand Base Compensation $55,000 – $70,000, with placement within the range determined through the interview process and based on a candidate's knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
