Applications for the above teaching position at St. Louis Adult Learning and Continuing Education Centres are invited from all qualified and interested applicants. Occasional Teacher(s) will be responsible to the Principal of St. Louis Adult Learning and Continuing Education Centres to teach the day school course offerings at St. Louis. Occasional work may be single or multi-day assignments. Term positions will be first offered to seniority members. Any unfilled positions will be posted to Occasional Teachers.

General Description of Duties:
Follow lesson plans and deliver curriculum to students
Use a variety of instructional strategies
Evaluate student progress and provide ongoing feedback to students
At the end of the day, provide a summary report to the teacher
Teaching a compressed schedule in core subjects
Minimum Requirements:
Hold a current Ontario College of Teachers Certificate of Qualification
Have senior qualifications in the subject area
Desirable Assets:
Previous teaching experience
Have experience working in education and/or industry in the subject field
Please be aware that applicants to St Louis Adult Learning and Continuing Education are NOT required to be Catholic.
Salary Level: $40.84 per hour, plus Stat and Vacation Pay
Hours of Work : As needed
Location: Main Campus - 80 Young St, Kitchener
