Job Order #: NOC: 41400 Posted Date: 05-Nov-2025 Location: SASKATOON # of Positions: 1 Employment Terms: Full-Time Length of Employment: Permanent Education: University Bachelor's Degree Experience: 6-9 Years Apply By: 20-Nov-2025 How to Apply?: To view a complete job description and to apply online visit: Responsibilities Industrial Hygiene: Assist in developing, implementing, delivering, and promoting Industrial Hygiene Develop and implement workplace exposure monitoring programs for chemical, physical, biological and ergonomic hazards Manage the respiratory protection and hearing conservation programs Ensure that specialized instrumentation and monitoring equipment is properly maintained Radiation Protection: Oversee activities associated with the radiation protection program Plan and organize monitoring activities utilizing expertise in measuring radon/radon progeny levels and long lived radioactive dust Supervise Technicians/Technologists Work with operations to coordinate activities such as ventilation and contamination control Ensure that radioisotopes are monitored, stored, used and maintained as required Work with operations to ensure that movement of material on and off site comply with regulations and requirements Prepare reports, analyses to support both operations and meet corporate needs Promptly respond to situations requiring investigation, mitigation, or control of unacceptable radiation exposure Skills and Qualifications Degree in Occupational & Environmental Health, Public Health, Industrial Hygiene or related discipline 5+ years experience working in a field directly related to the control of worker exposure to radiation, preferably in a mining or similar environment Demonstrated ability to supervise technical staff High level of proficiency with databases Familiarity with the operation of agencies such as CNSC, LWRS, SMOE or their equivalents Work Location & Schedule McClean Lake site 14 days in and 14 days out rotating schedule Normally an 11 hour work day, although some activity outside or normal working hours may be required #J-18808-Ljbffr
