Prodigy Personnel is recruiting for Customer Service Representative to help our client in the *Hagersville* area. This position is a Full Time shift available Monday to Friday.

*Job Scope:*

Reporting to the Supervisor, Customer Service, the CSR is responsible for providing excellent customer service and to maximize customer growth by following company guidelines and fostering cooperative spirit through teamwork.

*Key Responsibilities*
* Bridge the daily communication between internal and external departments in operational matters to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
* Customer order management & key customer contact for issues: Shortages, Logistics, tracking etc.
* Receive, document and enter customer orders.
* Daily call and answer orders from customers by phone
* Provide support to Key Account personnel (as needed)
* Proactive resolution of issues that threaten Customer Service levels.
* Liaising with external and internal customers (Sales, Marketing, Logistics Depts.) Ensuring and exhibiting a professional attitude and demeanor to all who contact the company and to receive all incoming consumer complaints for all products produced by Gay Lea Foods
* Issuing return merchandise authorization numbers for return products to eligible customers Process credits
* Forward complaints with proper documentation to the Customer Service Supervisor
* Make necessary arrangements to pick up complaint products for analysis.
* Food Safety & Quality responsibilities as outlined in SOP's and other training materials provided and accurate record keeping.

*Qualifications:*
* Post-secondary education and 2 years' experience in a related field. Previous experience in a Food Processing industry would be an asset.
* Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and excel in a team environment Self-starter and team player with strong interpersonal skills and flexibility.
* Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.) Excellent Telephone/Communications/people skills both written and verbal Prior experience with an ERP system would be an asset.
* Proven ability to exercise diplomacy in stressful situations.

*Working environment*

Work is primarily sedentary in nature, with frequent interruptions and multiple deadlines.

*Physical Demands*

Sitting and keyboarding for considerable amounts of time.

8:30am-5pm.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
