Technical Project Manager Location: Remote Canada (preference given to candidates based in Victoria, BC who will work 3 days/week in office or Toronto, ON) About Worldline Worldline is the innovators at the heart of the payments technology industry, shaping how the world pays and gets paid. The opportunity As a Technical Project Manager you will drive our payment products forward and lead the management of the complete project lifecycle within the technology scope. You will work primarily with Worldline payments professionals, mostly within technology and product, and senior project management staff, leveraging our deep expertise in payments technology, business processes, and risk management. You will operate in an Agile/SCRUM environment, focusing on project planning, execution, milestone identification, deliverables, and risk mitigation. Projects typically last 3‑6 months with teams of 2‑6 stakeholders, and you may occasionally work directly with large clients who have dedicated technology resources. Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Manage projects requiring both internal and third‑party technical expertise, developing a solid technical understanding of Worldline products and interactions. Monitor and report on key project schedule delivery performance to local and senior management. Report on the percentage of technology time invested in new/updated consumable projects versus maintenance of existing projects. Track Engineering JIRA Sprint performance and platform release performance. Produce Statements of Work for major projects requested by key clients. Assist in managing the Technology budget. Who Are We Looking For 4+ years of project management experience, including at least 1 year of technical project management (preferably short-term projects < 12 months). Exceptional organizational, planning, time‑management, and prioritization skills, able to manage up to 15 projects of varying complexity in a fast-paced Agile environment. Strong team player, project leader, and skilled collaborator who can provide direction to junior staff. Value added to Product and Technology specification development and review. Effective consensus building and decision-making within authority/discipline. Persistent with excellent follow‑up skills and champion of issue resolution/escalation. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills for technical, non‑technical, and management audiences. CAPM or comparable Project Management certification (direct experience may be considered toward the requirement). Comfortable with technology and experienced with Microsoft Office and Atlassian tools (JIRA and Confluence). Creative with a process improvement mindset, questioning the status quo and seeking improvement opportunities. Experience in a global company, comfortable with non‑standard and extended hours. Nice To Have (but Not Deal Breakers) Practical usage of AI in a project management capacity Technical experience with a banking environment Payments industry experience SCRUM Master certification or desire to achieve it Familiarity with MS Project Technical degree or experience Bi‑lingual (French in particular) All candidates must have legal eligibility to work in Canada and be willing to undergo a background check upon offer or prior to hire.
