Experience working with HRIS systems (ADP), compensation tools, and performance management software. Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment legislation, and compliance requirements. Exceptional leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations. Superior communication skills, both written and verbal. Nice to Have Skills & Experience CHRP/CHRL designation considered an asset. Experience in agriculture, food manufacturing, or similar industries considered an asset. Job Description The Human Resources Director is responsible for leading all HR functions at a family owned/operated agricultural business with a strong focus on talent management, performance management, and compensation strategy. This role provides strategic and hands-on leadership in recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent, while building programs and processes that support a high performing, engaged workforce. The HR Director partners with senior leadership to ensure HR practices align with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and our commitment to a safe, inclusive, and thriving workplace.
