Business Development Manager – Ontario Location: Ontario (remote with extensive travel) Position Overview The Business Development Manager – Ontario is responsible for driving sustainable growth across key and strategic accounts by positioning the company as a long-term Partner of Choice. This role focuses on identifying, developing, and expanding high-value customer relationships while building a robust sales pipeline and delivering measurable customer value. This is a senior, hands‑on role requiring strong consultative selling skills, strategic account management experience, and the ability to operate within a structured sales environment. Key Responsibilities Identify, qualify, and develop new key accounts across Ontario to build a strong and sustainable sales pipeline Lead the introduction of products and services to prospective regional and national customers Build, maintain, and grow long‑term relationships with existing and new key accounts to increase sales volume Conduct professional customer presentations, demonstrations, and live events (including cooking or product demonstrations where applicable) Manage lab and field testing to successfully convert opportunities into sales Support and collaborate with internal sales teams to grow key account unit sales Develop strategic partnerships with distributors, dealers, consultants, and independent representatives Monitor market trends, customer activity, and competitive landscape; provide actionable insights to leadership Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular forecasts, monthly reports, and business updates Participate in strategic planning initiatives at both regional and national levels Support and participate in regional trade shows, customer events, and partner activities Travel extensively within Ontario to meet customers, partners, and stakeholders Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field 5–7 years of experience in sales, business development, or sales management 2–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience Proven experience managing key or strategic accounts Strong consultative selling and strategic sales planning skills Experience presenting technically sophisticated products or solutions Self‑driven, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working independently Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of relationship building Previous culinary experience or a strong interest in cooking is considered an asset Technical & Professional Skills Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to analyze data, forecast results, and communicate insights clearly Comfortable operating in a structured, performance‑driven sales environment Travel & Work Environment Approximately 60% travel required, including frequent overnight stays Occasional international travel Prime Management Group Inc will be accepting applications for this role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
