Overview The Account Executive, Exhibitor Sales generates new revenue and drives growth through identifying and engaging prospective sponsors. Activities include prospecting, lead generation, cold calling, and scheduling phone presentations (with BDR support); researching and discovering companies that value IT & HR Conferences, Audiences, and Analysts in collaboration with Marketing Executives, Field Marketers, and Event Marketers; delivering against set meeting and revenue goals; and ensuring a successful handoff and onboarding with the Account Management team. Responsibilities Proactively manage sponsors by coordinating with Partner Success Managers to schedule onboarding, planning & logistics, pre-event preparation, onsite delivery, post-event feedback, and renewal conversations to ensure sponsor success at our events. Work marketing leads and conduct coordinated cross-channel outreach into your assigned territory to book sales presentations with prospective sponsors. Grow revenue by actively identifying referrals through personal, professional, and client networks and pursue opportunities with former clients when they move to new companies. Identify cross-selling opportunities within our events calendar. Solicit feedback and testimonials from current accounts. Record client details and account notes in CRM system and follow internal reporting processes. Vendor Services Vendor Advisory Memberships enable vendors to access Info-Tech analysts and marketing analysts to understand their market and buyers, build better products, and accelerate go-to-market initiatives. Marketing Assets & Sales Enablement Materials enable vendors to position their products to prospects; vendors can license data from the SoftwareReviews platform and create reports, infographics, social media tiles, and other marketing assets. Analysts may participate in thought leadership webinars and speaking sessions. Event Sales: the vendor floor at Live and Signature events supports revenue and provides opportunities for vendors to become exhibitors, purchase speaking sessions, and branding opportunities. Education & Experience Post-Secondary Degree 3 years of experience in a customer service, sales, or corporate sponsorships role Skills Intellectual agility and curiosity; willingness to continually learn about the product and customer to articulate Value Proposition. Excellent communication and selling skills; ability to engage senior executives clearly and concisely. Active listening and responsive communication to improve mutual understanding. Organizational/time management skills; ability to manage multiple activities with re-prioritization. Persistence and resilience; use of creativity and a solutions-oriented approach to overcome challenges. Business acumen; understanding of IT industry and business environment. Self-awareness and motivation; awareness of strengths and development areas.
