General summary Reporting to the VP Finance, the Director of Finance will oversee corporate accounting practices and functions. This includes general accounting operations, financial analysis and forecasting, audits, and regular reporting to upper management. Main tasks and responsibilities Oversee the accounting operations, including the monthly and quarterly preparation of accounting month-end cycle reports Oversee the inventory management and ERP operations Preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statement and MD&A and assist the auditors during the audit process Develop, implement, monitor and improve internal controls over financial reporting Responsible for key and/or complex accounting transactions, including costing of cannabis and biological assets Preparation of budget and review budget to actual and cash flow forecast Lead, coach and support the accounting team The list of tasks and responsibilities listed above is not exhaustive. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, CPA required 7+ years’ experience in accounting Leadership skills and ability to work effectively with others at all levels and functions across the Company Experience in managing and supervising staff Ability to work in and to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handling multiple priorities Hands on with a collaborative mindset and desire to improve performance across the organization Advanced skills in Excel and ERP knowledge (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics) is considered an asset #J-18808-Ljbffr
