Continuing 1.0 FTE
Salary: The starting annual salary for this full-time Teaching position ranges from $$63,357 to $111,802, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
Benefits: We offer a competitive benefits package and pension.
Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers' Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay).
-Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification.
-Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each posting.
District Numeracy Support Teacher - Grades K-12
(POSTING NUMBER T2425-164 - Round 2)
1.0 FTE continuing contract, starting September 10, 2024 or upon completion of the posting process.
Must have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience in numeracy skills at the K-12 level.
It would be considered an asset to have the following:
-Additional course work or professional learning pertaining to numeracy.
-Experience with preparation, presentation and facilitation of numeracy workshops and professional learning communication.
Shortlisted applicants should be prepared to provide a presentation during their interview, on how they envision supporting numeracy development in School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay).
This is a District position, and will support all of the communities within School District No. 5. The home base for this position is still to be determined.
