Position Title: Manager, Product Evaluation & Forecasting

Reports To: Director of Marketing

Location: Oakville, Ontario

POSITION DESCRIPTION

As a Manager, Product Evaluation & Forecasting you will play a crucial role in the successful selection, development and management of products in SteriMax’s pipeline. Working closely with the Director of Marketing and cross-functional teams, you will assist in evaluating, forecasting and managing products throughout the pipeline process.

The position is full-time, reports to the Director of Marketing and may involve domestic travel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with BD and commercial teams to evaluate new product opportunities and identify potential value to customers and the organizations portfolio
  • Working with BD, Sales and Marketing teams build refine and maintain a commercial forecast for new product launches
  • Alignment with Project Management, Finance, and Commercial Analytics to monitor and update forecast/impact of any changes in the market or internal timelines
  • Trade Dress: Support trade dress evaluation; Conducting competitive market research on product packaging and labelling; Assisting in trade dress assessment and recommendation.
  • Responsible for identifying unique product requirements including packaging, labeling, patient support programs, and additional studies that meet customer needs and working with internal team members for successful execution of these requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, market share, and customer feedback and make recommendations on marketing strategies.

  • Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical market including healthcare trends, competitors, and regulatory landscape.
  • Project Management expertise.
  • Proficient with MS Office and data reporting.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical product management, analytics, marketing, or related fields.
  • Experience in Canadian Pharmaceutical market is a strong preference
  • Knowledge of Canadian pharmaceutical market dynamics and regulatory guidelines.
