Legal Assistant

Cartel Inc., a progressive agency specializing in legal support services, is currently seeking an Intermediate Legal Assistant with 3-5 years of Accident Benefits experience to join our Clients Downtown dynamic team.
Responsibilities encompass a diverse range of tasks, including transcribing dictations, preparing legal documents such as pleadings and affidavits, and managing correspondence with clients, courts, and opposing parties.
Key duties also include coordinating with process servers for court filings, managing daily dockets, prioritizing assignments, and maintaining lawyers' calendars. Proficiency in handling arbitration matters is advantageous.
The ideal candidate will hold a Legal Assistant Certificate, demonstrate a strong grasp of legal procedures, exhibit exceptional organizational skills, and thrive in multitasking environments. Effective communication, both written and verbal, is essential, along with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team. Experience in insurance defense is preferred.
