Our three large kitchens offer complete food and beverage services to local, hotel, and business guests. We are looking for someone who shows dedication to a creative and positive work environment and fosters a collaborative approach with all F&B team members. The Jr Sous Chef works closely with the Sous Chef related to food production, health and safety, sanitation, teaching techniques and food execution while providing direct support to Culinary Leadership. Compensation $26.70 per hour Physical Requirements Heavy (H) work activities involve handling loads more than 20 kg. Must be physically capable of lifting heavy loads around 35 kg. Assists with implementation of standard recipes & ensures quality and quantity. Inspects all food products, ensures accurate portion control and standard recipes followed. Trains the culinary team on established standard recipes and procedures. Ensures health and safety guidelines are followed. Supervises cooks in assigned kitchen in the absence of the Sous Chef. Ensures opening and closing procedures, cleaning schedules, and daily cleaning details are followed. Maintains health and safety records and completes daily cooling records. Coordinates daily shift briefings with the Culinary Team, communicates special requests and reservation requirements. Ensures timely delivery of quality food products and accurate presentation.
