Responsibilities
- Develop machine learning models and algorithms that enable us to drive actionable insights for our customers in the realm of descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive analytics.
- Develop machine learning models that can be leveraged to enhance recruiting, onboarding and employee learning & development workflows.
- Work closely with a cross-functional team of product managers, customer success managers and professional services to understand high value customer problems to solve and design solutions to solve these problems.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable machine learning pipelines using AWS services.
- Conduct thorough data analysis to understand patterns, trends, and insights within HR data and leverage that to drive feature engineering and model development.
- Optimize and fine-tune ML models for performance and scalability.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning and apply them to real-world problems.
- Ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of ML systems in production.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in machine learning and creatively explore opportunities on how we can leverage them to solve HR-specific challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proven experience (7+ years) as a Machine Learning Engineer with a focus on developing AI solutions for real-world problems.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R or Java.
- Solid understanding of machine learning technique and algorithms, such as supervised and unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning, etc.
- Experience with ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using SQL, Pandas, or similar tools.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with AWS services such as Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, EC2, S3, and RDS.
- Publications or contributions to the ML community (GitHub projects, conference papers, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
- Deep care for understanding user problems and delivering solutions that meet their needs.
- Experience in the HR domain is a plus.
